Wine tastings with experts, visits to cellars and "caves", walks in vineyards, bed & breakfasts and country inns, and many other special events. From the outskirts of Nice to the Camargue, nearly 430 winemakers and cooperative wineries open their doors to you for personalized wine tasting experiences with experts in the field.
You will be won over by the warm and sunny route and its many charms, crossing through some of the most beautiful country you'll ever see. A thousand and one different roads lead to hidden estates and welcoming wine cellars that cover all the appellations of the Provence vineyards.
Along the way, you'll have the chance to talk firsthand with the region's winemakers about their passion, helping you to better understand the particular culture and character of each "terroir" and the different ways they make their wines.

Walking tours through the vineyards of Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône) May-November

A winemaker will be your guide for a walk of approximately 5km (3 miles) through vineyards and past local landmarks, followed by a winery tour and wine-tasting. Ten morning walks are scheduled from May to November.

Art & Wines (Var) June-September

ach year, the Fédération des Vignerons Indépendants (Independent Winegrowers Federation) of the Var welcomes artists to its many wineries, exhibiting both well-established and up-and-coming artists. During the summer months, the wineries and castles of the Var are transformed into temporary art galleries, where sculptures, paintings and other works enliven the wine cellars and vineyards of Provence!

COOPARADE (Var) Summer

The Fédération des Caves Coopératives (Cooperative Winegrowers Federation) of the Var is holding the Cooparade to highlight the important values of cooperation, and to showcase the diversity and the quality of their agricultural products. The Cooparade is a night-time market offering only the products of the cooperative. You can taste all sorts of products: the wines of the Var, of course, but also olive oil, champagne, cheese, etc.

Côté Caves (Var & Bouches-du-Rhône) July / August

Over the summer, the winemakers from the Côtes de Provence, Coteaux Varois en Provence and Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellations will be opening their doors to the general public, giving them the opportunity to discover their “terroir” and their wines.
"Côté Caves" is a free and simple game that is being offered as part of these visits from July 1st through August 31st. No purchase is necessary; visitors will receive scratch cards giving them the chance to immediately win one of 80,000 available prizes!
